Two sisters comforting each other at home

Roundup, a pervasive herbicide used across the United States, has become the center of thousands of lawsuits due to its alleged link to non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma, related cancers, and other medical conditions. Bayer, which acquired Monsanto—the original manufacturer of Roundup—in 2018, has already spent billions in settlements.

At Wool Trial Law LLC, our lead attorney, David Wool, has substantial experience in Roundup product liability litigation. We are committed to holding Bayer accountable and helping victims of glyphosate exposure get the compensation they deserve. If you or a loved one has been diagnosed with a life-threatening illness after using Roundup, you may be eligible to file a lawsuit. Our Denver-based law firm serves clients nationwide. Is Roundup Linked To Cancer?

In 2015, the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC), an agency of the World Health Organization, classified glyphosate—the active ingredient in Roundup—as probably carcinogenic to humans. This classification was based on evidence that linked glyphosate to the development of cancer in laboratory animals, specifically non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma (NHL).

However, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) maintains that glyphosate is not likely to cause cancer in humans. Bayer relies on these EPA findings to challenge existing lawsuits. Despite these conflicting reports, multiple studies suggest that exposure to glyphosate-based herbicides increases the risk of NHL, B-cell lymphoma, and leukemia, particularly among farm workers and others regularly exposed to the substance.

Other Illnesses Associated with Roundup

Besides cancers, glyphosate exposure has been linked to a range of other health issues, including:

  • Liver and kidney damage
  • Reproductive disorders
  • Parkinson’s disease
  • Respiratory disorders
  • Multiple sclerosis
  • Diabetes
  • Lou Gehrig’s disease (ALS)

No matter the illness you are facing, the attorneys at Wool Trial Law can help you build a strong case against Bayer/Monsanto.

Am I Eligible For a Roundup Lawsuit?

The eligibility criteria encompass a variety of situations and exposure levels:

Diagnosed Illnesses

The critical eligibility requirement is the diagnosis of an illness that scientific studies and medical literature have linked to glyphosate exposure. These primarily include non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma, but also other forms of cancer and other chronic health conditions mentioned above.

Extent and Duration of Exposure

Individuals who have been regularly exposed to Roundup, particularly in a professional setting like agriculture, landscaping, or garden center employment, are often considered prime candidates for a lawsuit. The duration and frequency of use can play a significant role in establishing the link between the illness and the herbicide. However, cases involving lesser exposure, but resulting in significant illness, may also be eligible.

Timing of Diagnosis

The timing between exposure and the onset or diagnosis of illness can also impact eligibility. Generally, cases in which the illness was diagnosed after a significant period of exposure are more likely to qualify.

Failure of Bayer/Monsanto to Warn Users

Another angle we pursue in establishing eligibility is Bayer/Monsanto’s failure to adequately warn users about the potential risks associated with Roundup. The absence of clear warnings on product labels can serve as compelling evidence of corporate negligence.

Although Bayer introduced new formulations without glyphosate for consumer products in 2023, commercial glyphosate-based products are still available. While farmworkers and landscapers are most at risk, household users who have developed illnesses may also be eligible.

Once we determine you are eligible, we will handle all the details. Our attorneys will:
